Staff, students and Board of Education members in District 38 proudly celebrated our nation’s birthday by participating in the Monument 4th of July Parade. Known as a prominent Independence Day event in the region, D38 was honored to join the festivities.
Among the participants was D38’s new superintendent, Dr. Stacie Datteri who officially began her tenure on July 1. Dr. Datteri welcomed the opportunity to engage with the community during her first week.
“I felt such joy to see so many smiling faces and people of all ages at the parade. I love the small-town feel here and am proud to call this community my new home,” Datteri said. “I am eager to work alongside our dedicated staff, families, and community members in the Tri-Lakes Area, and I look forward to continuing to build on this district’s positive reputation.”
Welcome, Dr. Datteri! We are glad to have you on board in School District 38.
