Accessibility Statement
In Lewis-Palmer School District 38, we want to ensure everyone who visits our website finds the experience rewarding. As part of that commitment, we’re making good faith efforts to ensure that our digital resources comply with web accessibility standards.
WCAG Guidelines
To help us make the D38 website accessible to all, we are working to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for individuals with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone. There are three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). Our target is AA level accessibility.
Evidence of a Plan
We are working on documenting our LPSD Evidence of an Accessibility Plan. As part of our plan, we use a website audit tool called Siteimprove, which checks our webpages for accessibility and content quality. It is also our goal to provide continuous accessibility and content creation training for our web page editors.
We Welcome Your Feedback
If you had a positive experience on our website, we’d enjoy hearing about it. If there is anything we can do to make it more accessible, please let us know by sending an email to the D38 Communications Team.
