Student services is the point of contact between parents and the District regarding student concerns, disciplinary matters, and adherence of the District to state and federal law.  As the first point of contact between parents and the District, the office arbitrates and hears all matters of difference between the schools and parents. Student Services also acts as the main point of interface between the District and law enforcement and the Department of Human Services. Acting as the Child Welfare liaison, the office of Student Services also coordinates services to homeless students as well as acting as a liaison between a variety of community support groups for those students in need. The office also coordinates and manages district-wide disciplinary matters.
