From Our Superintendent
Dear LPSD 38 Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,
The 2024-25 school year is underway, and I have seen firsthand how our campuses are exceptional places to learn. I have witnessed the unwavering commitment of teachers, support staff, and leaders who are all committed to doing what is best for students. District 38 has a positive reputation for academic excellence, and we will continue to build on that tradition. I am incredibly grateful for our team of dedicated employees, and strong support from our families and community.
Having begun my career in the classroom as an elementary teacher, I understand the challenges and rewards of serving as an educator. This experience keeps me connected to the greater mission of education and focused on keeping students at the heart of all we do.
As D38’s superintendent, I am fully committed to the strategic priorities that our Board of Education has defined. These priorities closely align with our vision, mission and core values. Our Board includes many dedicated, forward thinkers who are grounded in mindful and balanced decision-making, are fiscally responsible, and committed to offering relevant learning opportunities for our students. Together, we will live our mission, and let our strategic plan serve as our guiding star and roadmap.
To achieve the goals outlined in our strategic plan, I will focus on bringing out the best in everyone on our team. Every day I will work to uplift teachers, staff, and students and build meaningful relationships across the district and in our community.
I am also committed to providing safe and welcoming schools. Our building leaders and teachers are dedicated to ensuring a positive learning environment awaits every student, from the moment they enter the building to when they leave for the day. When learners, families and community members are on our campuses, they will be treated with respect and care.
I am excited to see where our work takes us in the future. Lewis-Palmer School District 38 is an exceptional place to learn, and with your partnership, we will ensure every student, every day is elevated and prepared for success.
Sincerely,
Dr. Stacie Datteri
Superintendent,
Lewis-Palmer School District 38
