More than a dozen D38 students enrolled in American Sign Language (ASL) courses organized and performed skits as part of their fall semester coursework.

Adan Penilla, Ph.D., who teaches for both D38 and Pikes Peak Community College led his students on a journey both to learn how to sign and put the skills to use. This manifested itself in the public performances, held the week of Dec. 6.

The project will account for 20 percent of each students’ course grade. You can watch the skits below:
