Mrs. Stamp has been a college teaching assistant, a public school teacher, a specialist for GT students, a master teacher trainer, a customer service trainer, an event producer, and a small business owner. She has presented to educators, students of all ages, corporations and non-profits. She loves movies, reading, psychology and brain studies, fine and decorative arts, food and cooking, creative problem solving, and learning.

Mrs.Stamp studied at Sheridan College, the University of Wyoming, the University of North Texas and Texas Women’s University. While teaching in Germany for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools, she did coursework through various universities and even did a course at the Vegetarian Cookery School of England!

Mrs. Stamp spent 15 years in numerous leadership positions in the women’s international service organization, Zonta. Through Zonta, she was the local founding chair of the Glass Slipper Ball Featuring the Best of the Chefs and Wine Purveyors, working on its production for over 10 years. This event created awareness and funding for local and global women’s initiatives, including the fight against human trafficking and other forms of violence against women and girls. Mrs. Stamp was also a docent at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and an entrepreneur. Married in 1994, Laura and Dirk have two sons: Jason and Jean-Luc.
