Welcome to the Bear Creek Art Department, where every child is encouraged to develop their creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a deep appreciation for the arts. Our mission is to nurture a lifelong love of art while enhancing the studio environment through social learning, active student engagement, and a focus on depth and complexity. At Bear Creek, students integrate skills from math, science, and literacy into their art projects, which range from ceramics, painting, and weaving to collage work and beyond. Our dedicated art educators emphasize the six pillars of character—respect, trustworthiness, citizenship, responsibility, caring, and fairness—in every aspect of our program.

Please remember, art can be messy! Please wear appropriate clothing on art days. Students are always welcome to wear an art smock during art, however, accidents happen so it's a good idea for students not to wear their very best clothing on art days!
