Develop Gratitude with GLAD
Every Sunday, my family practices a weekly gratitude ritual that my boys really look forward to.
It's called *GLAD*:
Gratitude
Learning
Accomplishment
Delighted
After dinner, each of us take turns reflecting on our week and sharing the following:
Something we’re grateful for
Something we’ve learned
Something we’ve achieved
Something that brought us joy
It's a lovely way to build a mindset of gratitude through simple reflection. So I want to share it.
You can use this week’s guide, Daily Ritual to Develop Gratitude With Your Child, to start this practice with your child.
Try it daily or weekly — whichever works best for your family.
There’s no need to insist on answers for each statement. Share your own experiences of GLAD and your child will open up more and more as you continue the ritual.
Let me know how it goes!
In gratitude,
Alexandra
