Kilmer is a warm and welcoming environment to be in.  Students are given the opportunity to work cooperatively with their peers through hands-on experiments and activities. Students are given the tools to become great problem-solvers while working together towards a common goal.  In our second grade classrooms, we strongly encourage and challenge our students to take advantage of opportunities to lead and coach one another. In second grade, students are provided different authentic learning experiences such as field trips and innovative projects.  We are excited to be a part of your child’s learning experience.
