Research Databases – check out our offerings for students here - We might have different options than your library including Testing & Education Reference Center with all sorts of test prep for students. PPLD offers resource classes where librarians will come in and teach your students about all we have to offer. Culturegrams is a database that gives students a kid’s-eye view of daily life in other countries.
Online Career High School – for students that need an alternative to regular high school for ages 17+. Hugely successful program with tutors and mentors for each student. Zero cost to each student who’s accepted.
We offer book clubs for high schools and book talks for teens and tweens. We supplied 30 copies of a juvenile fiction novel to LPMS for a book club there and then the students went on a field trip to a PPLD location where they met the author and were able to ask questions about the writing process and the novel in 2019.
