Course Registration
New Student Registration: Thank you for choosing D38! If you are new to the area and would like to enroll at Palmer Ridge High School, please see the Enrollment Information on the main district webpage. Once students are enrolled through the district, PRHS counselors are available to meet with you. To smooth the transition for upperclassmen, please bring a transcript with you to your appointment. We look forward to meeting with you and welcoming you into the Bear Family!
Returning Student Registration: Registration materials for the 2024-2025 school year will be given to all students on February 1st and 2nd during 9th & 10th Study Hall/Free Range Bears and American History Classes. Counselors will meet with students again on the 13th & 14th to help students enter course requests. Students must bring their completed registration forms with parent and teachers signatures at that time. Additionally, please bring your charged Chromebook to all registration meetings! Online HS students, please scan and email your registration form to your counselor or drop it off at the front office by Feb. 14th. If you have any questions, please email your counselor!
Graduation Requirements
Palmer Ridge has a four-year course of study. Therefore, graduation requirements will be based upon units of credit earned in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. We do not accept any credits taken before the first day of the 9th grade year.
Students must take 6 classes to be considered full-time status.
1 credit = Two successfully completed semesters of work.
0.5 credit = One semester of successfully completed work.
