Gifted and talented students are those who show exceptional performance and outstanding abilities, or who demonstrate obvious potential for in-depth advanced academic programs. These students have been identified using a body of assessment evidence.
PRHS is committed to providing an educational program that recognizes the unique abilities and educational needs of gifted and talented students. We strive to provide appropriate differentiated services and programs to encourage positive character development, high-level thinking, and creative productivity.
The GT Facilitator collaborates with counselors, administration, teachers, and parents to ensure that each GT student's academic and personal/social needs are being addressed.
NOTE: Course offerings from the Gifted and Talented Program (below) are open to ANY PRHS STUDENT who meets the requirements. You do not need to be in the Gifted and Talented Program to enroll.
