Building Accountability and Advisory Committee (BAAC)
Would you like to learn more about your student's education?
How does Palmer Ridge High School compare to other schools? What makes us unique? What are our priorities? What are the school's initiatives and activities for educational improvement, and how are these being addressed by PRHS? How does PRHS involve the students and staff in our local community? Do you have questions about the school budget or school policies? The Palmer Ridge Building Accountability and Advisory Committee (BAAC) will answer these questions.
Each school year, as required by state law, a group of parents, community representatives, the PRHS principal, and teaching staff representatives form the PRHS Building Accountability Committee (BAAC). The BAAC provides parents, the community, teaching staff, and school administration a forum to monitor and discuss education at PRHS, share ideas, review policies, and provide advice to school administration.
A partial list of topics discussed includes: PRHS student and school performance, the PRHS school improvement plan, school initiatives, the school calendar, the educational environment at PRHS, policies, parent involvement, school safety, and the PRHS budget. Notably, the BAAC is a forum for continual collaboration in order to monitor, enhance and improve the quality of education for our Palmer Ridge High School students.
