Sept. 9, 2024 Dear Prairie Winds Sixth Grade Families, It is with a sad heart that I share the news that two of our longtime families recently lost loved ones who played an integral part in our PWES community. We understand that some of their classmates and teachers may wish to show support and care during this challenging time. With the families’ permission, we are providing information about the upcoming memorial services to families in the grades directly affected. If you and your child would like to attend the memorial service for Mr. Salomonsen and/or Max Harcrow to offer your support, the details are as follows: Mr. Salomonsen: Date: Friday, Sept. 13 Time: 11:00 a.m. Location: Cross Fellowship Church 10915 Black Forest Road Colorado Springs, CO 80908 Max Harcrow: Date: Friday, September 13 Time: 1:00 p.m. Location: Tri-Lakes United Methodist Church 20256 Hunting Downs Way Monument, CO 80132 Our entire PWES community extends heartfelt condolences to the families, and we encourage everyone to support them in whatever way feels most meaningful to you. On Tuesday, August 13th, the office will be closed from 8:00-12:00 for staff training. The office will reopen at 12:00 to support any questions or needs you may have.
