Arrival Procedure
THE MORNING DROP OFF PROCEDURE
The DROP-OFF ZONE is from the beginning of the sidewalk to the front walkway of the school (along the curved red-painted curb).
Each morning, staff members are at the beginning of the drop-off zone (the start of the sidewalk) and at the end of the drop-off zone (the walkway that leads to the front doors of the school).
Parents should only drop off students between the staff members on duty.
Parents should stay in their car at all times while in car line.
If you would like to walk your child into the building, we kindly ask that you park in the West lot and follow signs to stay on the path/sidewalk until reaching the front door of the building.
Students may be dropped off after 8:40 a.m. (There is no supervision before this time.)
The first bell rings at 8:48 a.m., and classes start at 8:55 a.m.
These procedures are for the safety of our students. Staff members can control the flow of traffic by ensuring that cars do not move until all children, coats, scarves, and backpack straps are clear of the vehicles and children are on the sidewalk.
Please do not use your phone in the parking lot while your vehicle is moving. We need everyone’s full attention to keep students, parents, and staff safe.
